Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 7, 2026

This policy explains what cookies SendSawa uses, what each one does, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers everything else we do with your information.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small file a website saves on your phone or computer. It lets the site remember things between pages and visits - like the fact that you are already signed in. We also use similar tools built into your browser, such as local storage. Where this policy says "cookies", it means all of them.

2. The cookies we use

Cookies the site needs to work

These are always on. Without them you cannot sign in, stay signed in, or check out safely. They do not follow you around other websites.

  • Sign-in cookies - set by Supabase, our database and login provider. They keep you logged in to your dashboard and remember which account you are using.
  • Security cookies - protect forms and checkout from abuse and fraud.
  • The cookie notice - once you close the notice on our home page, we remember that so it does not come back on every visit.

Cookies that show us how the site is used

We use PostHog to count visits, see which pages and features people use, and find the parts of SendSawa that confuse or slow people down. They record:

  • Pages you open and how long you stay on them.
  • Buttons and features you use inside your dashboard.
  • Basic device details such as browser, screen size, and country.

If you are signed in, these events are linked to your account so we can support you properly. We do not sell this data, and we do not use it to show you adverts.

Cookies from other services on our pages

Some tools we use may set their own cookies when you reach them - for example your payment provider during checkout. Those cookies are controlled by those companies under their own privacy policies.

3. Advertising cookies

We do not use advertising or ad-targeting cookies on SendSawa, and we do not share what you do on our site with advertising networks.

4. The notice you see on our home page

The first time you visit sendsawa.com, we show a short notice that tells you:

  • Which cookies we use and what each one is for.
  • A link to this page, so you can read the details before you go on.

Once you close the notice, we remember that in your own browser so we do not show it again. The controls that actually switch cookies on and off live in your browser - see the next section.

5. Turning cookies off in your browser

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings - look for "Cookies", "Site data" or "Privacy". Blocking everything is your right, but the sign-in cookies are what keep your dashboard open, so you may be logged out on every page if you block them.

6. Changes to this policy

If we start using a new kind of cookie, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date.
